Canine Good Neighbour Test (CGN) -Wiggle Waggle Walk-a-thon & Run for the Animals

Quinte Canine is proud to announce that we will be holding a Canine Good Neighbour Test (CGN test) at this years Wiggle Waggle Walk-a-thon & Run for the Animals Saturday September 12th 2015 at Zwick's Park in Belleville!!!

This fun-filled event in support of the Quinte Humane Societywill be filled with demonstrations, vendors and activities for the whole family including our canine pals!! Our Canine Good Neighbour test will take place throughout the day as a fundraiser for the Quinte Humane Society !

The Canine Good Neighbour Program is a 12-step test, that when completed successfully, will ensure that one of our most favoured companions, the dog, is accepted as a valued member of our communities right across the country.

The test is non-competitive and allows dog and handler to demonstrate confidence and control in 12 steps. Dogs are evaluated on their ability to perform basic exercises as well as their ability to demonstrate good manners in everyday situations. The program embraces both purebred and mixed-breed dogs and is fun, rewarding, and useful. It encourages owners to have a better and richer relationship with their dogs.
