​Ben (aka Albany) was born in 2011 in upstate New York from a long line of champion hunting dogs. He is a dark yellow Lab often called ‘Fox Red’ although that is not an official colour. Even though his litter of nine puppies includes two agility champions, agility was never Ben’s strength.

Laurie and Ben discovered scent sports together and have never looked back. He is a master champion of scenting, competed at SDDA Nationals in 2019, and has advanced excellent titles in rally obedience and obedience. We had to work hard to become a good team but it has been worth all the effort. He is my loyal and hard-working companion and frequently likes to tell me that at FULL volume.
