Novice Trick Dog classes are designed for any dog! All dogs that complete the Novice Trick Dog Class are eligible to receive their Novice Trick Dog Title (NTD). Classes are 6 weeks and are $185 +HST. The Trick Dog Title fee can be added to any class for just $40 and includes the title certificate and ribbon.
Intermediate Trick Dog

Intermediate Trick Dog classes are designed for dogs who have completed the Novice Trick Dog Classes or earned their Novice Trick Dog Title (NTD)! All dogs are eligible to receive their Intermediate Trick Dog Title (ITD). Classes are 6 weeks and are $185 +HST. The Trick Dog Title fee can be added to any class for just $40 and includes the title certificate and ribbon.
Advanced & Expert Trick Dog

Advanced and Expert Trick Dog classes are designed for dogs who have mastered the Intermediate Trick Dog Classes or earned their Intermediate Trick Dog Title (ITD)! All dogs are eligible to receive their Advanced and Expert Trick Dog Titles (ATD & ETD). Classes are 6 weeks and are $185 +HST. The Trick Dog Title fee can be added to any class for just $40 and includes the title certificate and ribbon.

Advanced & Expert Trick Dog Class
Young or senior, pure bred or mixed breed, any dog will enjoy trick training! Trick training is one of the best ways to build a fun, engaging, loving relationship with your dog. Dogs of any age and breed(s) can participate in tricks. During classes, a variety of reward based training methods will be used to elicit behaviours. Trick training not only builds your relationship, it provides much needed mental stimulation and can increase your dog’s confidence and self-esteem.
As Certified Trick Dog Instructors, Yvonne or Laurie will help you learn over 25 tricks (including Say Your Prayers, Roll-Over, Hoop Jump, Take A Bow, Crawl and many more!) that you can practice anywhere and anytime. Help your dog learn to focus in all situations, build a strong bond with your dog or just impress your friends. All tricks can be modified to you or your dog's specific needs, skills or personality which will increase his/her success and fun!
Upon completing the Novice Trick Dog Class, dogs and handlers can qualify for their NTD (Novice Trick Dog) title from the international Do More With Your Dog organization. For an additional fee, Yvonne will witness your title and submit all the paperwork and payment for you! All you have to do it sit back and enjoy the wonderful tricks your dog has learned, while waiting for your title certification to come into your inbox.
Once a dog has completed the Novice Trick Dog class or received their Novice Trick Dog title they are able to join our Intermediate Trick Dog class to work toward earning their ITD (Intermediate Trick Dog) title! Yvonne and Laurie are available to handlers to complete the Novice Trick Dog title application for dogs that already have the required Novice Trick Dog tricks! More advanced dogs can join the Intermediate Trick Dog class with a brief assessment completed.
Effective January 1, 2020, CKC will be recognizing titles from Do More With Your Dog!®.
Trick dog appeals to all dogs and is both a fun sport and a great bonding experience with a dog and their owner/handler. The CKC is thrilled to adopt this Title Recognition Program beginning in January 1, 2020. In addition, any titles earned from Do More With Your Dog!® prior to this initial launch date will be eligible for a CKC Title Recognition as well. The CKC Office will be accepting applications on or after January 1, 2020.
